UPSC Civil Services Mains Time Table 2017 Released

UPSC Preliminary Examination was held on the 18th of June 2017 for approximately 980 Vacancies. The results of the Preliminary examination were declared on the 27th of July.  The UPSC has now released the schedule of Civil Services Mains Examination 2017. The mains examination comprises of 9 papers. 2 qualifying language papers of 300 marks each and 7 papers of 250 marks each. Out of the 7 papers, 2 are optional subjects of the candidate’s choice, 1 essay paper and 4 General studies papers. The examination will be held from 28th of October 2017 till 3rd of November 2017.

The Mains exam will be conducted in 2 sessions each day.

  1. Forenoon Session – 9.00 AM to 12 .00 Noon
  2. Afternoon Session – 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM
